Policies

BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and $100.00 deposit are required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit will be put toward the client’s total wedding day balance if the client chooses wedding day services. The remaining balance will be due on or before 14 days prior to the day of the event. Accepted forms of payment include: cash, money order, Cash App and all major credit cards. Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated. (NOTE: bridal consultations and deposit fees are two separate costs.)

CONSULTATIONS: Trials are available for brides as well as their bridal party members, including but not limited to: bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, grandmothers, extended family members, guest speakers, etc.  NOTE: Additional bridal party trials should be scheduled for the same day as the bride’s consultation in order to avoid an additional travel fee. (Any additional trials are charged full trial rate)

SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS: The location of makeup services for the day-of-event will be at the Bride’s discretion, but there are certain requirements the artist will need to complete the services. A set-up table/work area/trashcan/outlet if using airbrush will need to be made available for the Makeup Artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light (preffered) or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. Artist will arrive 15-30 minutes prior in order to set-up. Remember to where a button down shirt so you don't mess up your style while getting dressed. Please communicate the hotel room number if applicable by email or text.

AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATION: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking.

TRAVEL FEES: A mileage fee ($0.52/mile both ways) will be charged for locations outside of the 20-mile radius of Brookline, New Hampshire 03033. Travel fees apply for all pre-event makeup consultations as well as day-of appointments

DELAYS: Please be prepared to start when the Artist arrives. All ladies receiving makeup should have a clean, moisterized face & be ready to start. This is very important so we can stay on schedule, and the Artist can finish applications in the allotted time. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual timeframe is approximately 45 minutes per person. elloLaurees Makeup will create a schedule for the day, and will send this by email to the Bride for review. We can/will work with your hair stylist in coordinating the schedule. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if the scheduled makeup application exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.

DOUBLE BOOKING CLAUSE: Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if prior bookings change the time and/or locations and it causes tardiness or inability to perform services for your booking we adhere to the FCFS (The first to have come is the first to be served) policy whereby the requests of clients are attended to in the order that they reserve their services, without other biases or preferences. control.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgement by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction.

LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE: Photos taken at the trial or your professional photos may be used as examples of my work for future clients to view. Your photographer will receive proper credit for their work. You agree to me using these photos, as well as give consent to using your professional photos on my website/portfolio/social media. I will email you to request these photos and will also reach out to your photographer.

PAYMENT: The final balance is due on or before 14 days prior to the day of the event. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Your booking is a reserved spot. If you decide to cancel your wedding day services, you will not receive a refund of your deposit. All cancellations must be submitted in written form by email. Cancellations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the client’s reserved date or the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of services agreed upon in this contract. elloLaurees Makeup reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist/s arrives for the appointment.  Appointments cancelled or changed within thirty (30) days of wedding day will not be eligible for a refund on deposits. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform her duties for any reason and not be able to find a replacement makeup artist, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to elloLaurees Makeup and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.
